School Cabinet
At St. Joseph’s School, Malakpet, student leadership is nurtured through a unique and immersive Student Cabinet system inspired by the Indian democratic framework. Designed to mirror the functioning of a parliamentary system, the school conducts structured sessions such as the Monsoon and Winter Sessions, giving students a hands-on experience of governance and decision-making.
The Head Boy and Head Girl assume the roles of President and Prime Minister, while other cabinet members take on various ministerial responsibilities, ensuring every aspect of school life is represented.
This initiative was introduced with the aim of providing students with a practical understanding of the Indian democratic system, fostering leadership, responsibility, critical thinking, and civic awareness in a real-world context. It prepares our students to become the conscientious leaders of tomorrow.
